Joined GlobalScholar

After taking break for a week, I joined GlobalScholar yesterday. Not much of work on the first day, just customizing my system and the workplace to suit my productivity needs. The dual 21 inch monitors impress me (but I haven’t got to use the second monitor much so far). It’s been a slow start, hoping to catch up heat and run fast within a few days.

My last day in Microsoft

Today is my last day in Microsoft, Hyderabad. Things were fine till today but suddenly the fact that I'm moving out of the umbrella of one of the best employers, moving out of the guidance of best managers and best peers has started sinking in. Irrespective of which company we work in, what really matters is the people around us. I think, for me, Microsoft worked out really well in that sense. I only hope I get to work with equally talented and mature people in my new company…

Recently I updated the 'about me' description in Orkut with a song... it is in Tamil and based on the Kannadasan song 'Oru koppaiyilae yenn kudiyiruppu...'

This song clearly portrays my life for the past eight years.  But of course, I don't want it to be the case forever.  Will do something about it...

About Me

Born and brought up in Chennai, India.  Did my computer science & engineering at Anna University.  Been at Microsoft, Hyderabad for 4 years after college.  Will update soon about my next company...

Personally I'm very average at everything, except computers.  Of late trying to extend my scope to dance and music, though not much successful yet.

There is nothing about me that can be carved in stone.  Every time you meet me you'll find that something has changed in me and at times to the extremes.  One thing positive though is that whatever I believe in, I openly profess about it and so you can take it at the face value.

I subject myself to lot of experimentation related to lifestyle, food habits, spirituality etc. but don't stick to anything for long.  In fact, different people who've been with me over different periods of my life would portray a different picture about me.

Nothing else to say... I myself am confused.
